Find a lot or date code on your package

Recall notices often identify a specific production run, not every package that shares the same barcode. Look near the top seal, bottom panel, cap, side seam, barcode, or nutrition label for markings such as LOT, Best By, Use By, Sell By, or a USDA establishment number such as EST.

Compare the complete package marking with the official recall notice. Do not assume a barcode match alone means your package is affected when the notice lists additional required details.

If RecallCheck asks for more information

That means the available official record includes package-specific restrictions that cannot be confirmed from the barcode alone. Use the official notice as the final reference.
