What “no matching current recall” means
A no-match result means RecallCheck did not find a sufficiently supported current match in the official FDA and USDA records that were available to the app at the time of the check.
It does not mean the food is guaranteed safe, that no recall exists, or that every official notice contains a barcode. Recall data can be delayed or incomplete, and some recalls can only be confirmed by a lot code, date code, package size, establishment number, or other package detail.
What to do if you are still concerned
Review the source-status information in RecallCheck, compare your package with current official FDA and USDA notices, and follow the official recall instructions. If RecallCheck reports that one of its sources is unavailable or stale, do not treat a no-match result as complete coverage.
